FEMA Disaster Services personnel are conducting outreach for those that experienced financial losses to their primary residence as result of the January 10-13th storms in the following community locations:
April 18, Thursday- Gouldsboro town office, 9AM – 5PM
-April 19, Friday- Winter Harbor town office, 9AM – 3PM
(These dates are for any residents effected, not just Gouldsboro + Winter Harbor)
Please note: All residents from any town may visit any site to register for assistance. All Hancock County residents may visit the Disaster Recovery Center (and Business Recovery Center), 7 days per week, 8AM – 6PM located at the Moore Community Center, 125 State Street, Ellsworth.

SCHOODIC SHINES ANNUAL ROADSIDE CLEANUP– In celebration of Earth Day, the Towns of Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor will designate all of April to cleaning up our Peninsula. Starting April 1st, large white DOT bags and a clipboard will be available in tote boxes outside each Town Office. It is important to use ONLY the bags provided! Once a bag is filled, leave it where you have cleaned up and the bags will be picked up from the road.

Starting April 1st, Budget Committee Meetings will be held every Monday and Wednesday. Meetings will be located at the Town Office, starting at 5PM. *Meeting dates are subject to change*
