PENINSULA SCHOOL
The towns of Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor are served by the Peninsula School for grades K-8 and may be contacted at 963-2003.

SUMNER MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL
Secondary education is provided by Sumner Memorial High School in Sullivan for residents of the towns of Gouldsboro, Winter Harbor, Sullivan, Sorrento, Franklin, and Steuben.

DORCAS LIBRARY
The Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor is open:
      Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 PM-7:00 PM
      Saturday from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM

GOULDSBORO HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Established in 1982, The Town of Gouldsboro Historical Society is devoted to researching, collecting, and preserving the Town's historical material, and educating citizens about the history of our Town and region. The Society serves the community with an Historic Museum and archive, by cooperating with schools and local organization, and by offering numerous events to inform and entertain the public.

Town of Gouldsboro Historical Society Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Society shall be educational and cultural: To research, collect, organize, and preserve materials related to the history of the Town of Gouldsboro; to educate citizens in this history; to make this material available to the public through maintenance and development of a museum; to mark and preserve historical landmarks; to cooperate with other historical societies, libraries, archivists, and other interested groups; to provide an active society for persons interested in furthering these purposes.
